Choose a Healthy Meat

Eating healthy meat provides essential nutrients like protein, vitamins, and minerals, supporting muscle growth, overall health, and reducing disease risk for a balanced diet.Grass is the natural food for cattle, and they are healthiest when you consume it. Grass fed beef has 2 to 10 times more omega-3 fatty acids than grain fed beef. It also has more CLA (conjugated Linoleic acid), more vitamin E, more carotenoids, more B vitamins, more CoQ10, and more Zinc than grain fed beef.

Consume small farm, organically grown, grass fed, or free range lean meat without hormones, antibiotics, or factory farm exposure as often as possible when choosing meat to maximize health. Choose extra lean ground beef. The label should say at least "90% lean".

The family farm of 50 years ago has been largely replaced by industrial factory farms, whose primary goal is to produce large quantities of food at the lowest possible cost.

Animals are often overcrowded, mistreated and overfed antibiotics to prevent disease. Many have restricted movement and never see daylight. Consuming these animals contributes to antibiotic resistance in humans, as well as exposure to Bovine Growth Hormone (BGH) and Genetically modified corn.

A recent study in the British Journal of Cancer based on 6643 subjects found that a 50-gram increase in processed meat Chot dogs, lunchmeat) increased pancreatic cancer risk by 19%. To reduce risk of pancreatic cancer, consider reducing or eliminating processed meats, or at least switch to preservative free, organic meats.

Eating meat (particularly pork and red meat such as beef) itself is unhealthy especially when eaten in too large of quantities. Certain meats, such as beef, can take up to 72 hours to digest completely. Therefore, if you eat meat two or three times a day, you could still be digesting the food you had the other day while you are again consuming another round of it.

This explains why many autopsies reveal from 5 to as much as 40 pounds of undigested meat still in the systems of many people! Now, imagine how unhealthy it becomes if the animal where the meat came from was treated with antibiotics and other artificial health sustainers? These chemicals stay in the meat fibers; and no amount of washing, cooking, or boiling will get rid of them. Do you really want that in your food?

They ingest the antibiotics from animals, and the extra strong antibiotics kill both the good and bad bacteria in the human body. The more you eat chemically treated meat, the more you weaken your body's defense mechanisms.
